Our Purpose
We strive to bring
freedom through empowerment
by selling uniquely designed apparel
meant to pour hope and affirmation to those lost
in the darkness from trauma they suffered by bringing restoration through
outreaches, mentor-ships,
and connections.
Crowned by Divinity is a non-profit dedicated to the well being of young women (ages 12-25) who have suffered through traumatic experiences such as abuse, addiction, mental illnesses, homelessness, and the sex industry. Our hope is to grow our fashion-forward movement by selling uniquely designed empowering women’s apparel, so that we will be able to bring restoration to these women through outreaches funded by the sales of our apparel. We strive to be a safe place that can surround women with encouragement and community. Our intent is to generate trust in order to produce connection that leads to mentorship. Through mentorship and counsel, we are able to help expose the darkness by targeting roots that provoke it. Our objective is to be the influence and support needed. Overcoming struggles and finding freedom will require vulnerability, shining light on the darkness that has been hidden away, and dealing with the pain head on. We aspire for these women to know that they are worthy of a life of freedom, and we are willing to help them to obtain it. Freedom is found when the negative labels are broken off and self-love is produced. By being an advocate for those who have lived life feeling un-heard and insignificant, we are able to encourage them to use their voice. By helping them to recognize their strengths and discover their passions, our goal is to lead them to living a life of purpose.
